East Brunswick FIRST Inc. is a 501(c)(3) New Jersey non-profit founded by students for students. At EB FIRST, our mission is to promote STEM education through the FIRST Robotics program. We work closely with sponsors, mentors, universities, and professionals in the industry to create opportunities for students to learn and grow. We put an emphasis on teamwork as we know that great tasks are accomplished when people work together. When we work together, we can build something amazing.
FRC Team 6897 provides an opportunity for its members to not only gain a deeper understanding of STEM fundamentals but the core values of FIRST such as Gracious Professionalism and Cooperation.

FIRST is a non-profit organization that aims to TEACH, EMPOWER and INSPIRE young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
Through FIRST students across the globe gain access to an incredible array of values and programs which prepare them for the real world.
